Getting your event live is a straightforward process involving a few key statuses. Understanding them will help you know exactly where your event stands.
Event Status Lifecycle
Your event will move through the following stages:
Draft: This is the initial state of your event.It is private and not visible to the public.You can edit all details freely.You can find your draft events on your Organizer Dashboard. Pending Verification: When you are satisfied with your event details, you submit it for verification.Your event is now locked for editing by you.It is sent to the Locality (MATA) team for review.Our team checks for completeness, clarity, appropriate content, and adherence to our platform policies. Approved: Congratulations! Your event is now live.It is publicly visible on the platform and can be found by attendees.Ticketing and registrations (if applicable) are now active.You can still edit some details (like description or FAQs), but critical information like dates and financial types are locked. Declined: If your event does not meet our guidelines, it will be declined.You will receive a reason for the decline.The event returns to a Draft state, allowing you to make the necessary corrections.Once you've fixed the issues, you can resubmit it for verification.By following our guidelines and providing clear, accurate information, you can ensure a smooth and speedy verification process.
