Face Value keep things simple and primed on gate. Here’s how Face Value works at the gate, what we expect from you, and how we keep your identity completely yours.

1. What is Face Value?

Face Value is an optional way to walk into the event hands-free, letting you focus entirely on showing up. Instead of looking for a ticket on a screen, your face tells the story. You create your Face Value once in advance. Gatekeepers scans your Face Value on gate, if matched, they confirm your pass details, and on successful check in they welcome you right in. It is simple, personal, and entirely on your terms.

2. Respect the Gatekeepers

It's not necessary that the gatekeepers must scan your Face Value. They can ask for your valid ticket with QR on gate. Entering hands-free is a convenience, but standard venue guidelines still stand.

The gate staff, security, and event coordinators always have the final say on admission. Standard policies—including age restrictions, dress codes, security searches, and venue behavior rules—remain exactly the same.

3. Keep Your Ticket on Standby

This is a convenience helper, not a substitute for your ticket.

You must always keep your official E-Pass QR code ready on your phone. If the connection slows down, scanners go offline, organisers/gatekeepers decide to compulsory scan tickets, or lighting conditions prevent a clean match, you will be checked in via your QR code. Always have your ticket ready as backup.

4. Helping Us Recognize You

For a seamless, hands-free check-in, set up your Face Value with these guidelines in mind:

• Look straight at the camera with your face centered and fully in frame.
• Choose a spot with clear, balanced light. Avoid direct glares or dark shadows.
• Take off sunglasses, masks, or anything that covers your eyes and forehead (your daily reading or prescription glasses are perfectly fine).
• The system checks the photo layout before you save, to make sure everything matches up.

5. Keeping Things Private

We respect your space. Your profile is safe and strictly yours:

• We only use your Face Value to confirm it is actually you walking through the gate.
• Organizers never get access to your photo; they only get a simple check in info to let you in.
• You hold the keys. You can update or remove your Face Value at any time from your bookings or profile.
